The International Institute for Science & Engineering Education Research, or IISEER, was founded with the goal of enhancing STEM learning best practices sharing among nations.  Our goal is to develop productive educational partnerships between organizations, higher education institutions and schools throughout the world.  It is our belief that students learn best when they are engaged in inquiry-based activities that encourage self-discovery.  We advocate for an increase in informal learning opportunities, supported by organizations and governments of all types.

We do so because we believe that we live in a world in which the global economy is increasingly more influenced by STEM creations and discoveries.  Yet there are numerous global problems which have proven difficult to solve, including cancer, energy, global warming, food quality/hunger, pandemics and more.  We believe the world will require close, effective collaborations among both the current and next generation of scientists and engineers, across many nations.  In order to do so, we hope to encourage sharing of the very best STEM learning practices among all of our partner organizations and nations, and focus on streamlining communications regardless of cultural backgrounds.

Our focus is on being the bridge for some of the best ideas in education around the world.  We aim to do this by facilitating key stakeholder meetings, holding summits and conferences, creating innovative curriculum, and developing new student STEM research competitions and other learning models.   And, we aim to do much, much more.

We can’t do this without your help. We encourage you to connect with us, and collaborate.  Please reach us via the Contact button above.  At the moment our website is still under construction, so bear with us while we grow quickly in the near future.  If you can’t reach us via the form above, please reach us at info (at) iseeresearch.org.
